I've known cats that actually liked riding in cars, so :46 doesn't really surprise me much.

Although judging from this one's expression, my money's on "tied to something heavy behind the seat."

When I was a kid our cat fell through the flywire of the caravan roof just before a holiday and we didn't realise for 400km till we heard the wails of the damned at a petrol station. She spent the rest of the trip sitting on the bask seat rest looking the complete opposite of this no doubt catnip addled feline.

These kinds of cats love riding on shoulders and other moving objects. They will jump very far to land on a shoulder. I think it's a domesticated pounce attack.
