While I think this show went on way too long, I kind of miss it now that it's gone.

I never watched this show like most people, while getting stoned in college. I very much looked down on that (imo if your going to get high you should go outside and have an *adventure* I really hated those stoners who'd just do nothing and watch tv, and avoided hanging out with them, also the show looked fucking stupid)
Years later I wanted to see what I missed and downloaded it. I initially hated it, but gave it a chance and fairly quickly grew to love it. I watched it all. Having watched it all at roughly the same time under the same circumstances imo the show is consistently good. I reckon for people who fondly remember it being good and think it went downhill; that is probably more due to your watching circumstances changing rather than the show.
Mr. Purple Cat Esq.
Actually in many ways it gets better as it progresses, as the fucks given / attempts to have *some* sort of narrative structure, by the writers diminish as it goes on.
They ditched narrative structure early on; pretty much all structure was gone by the end of the first season. It still makes me giggle how they ditched the super hero premise literally 3 episodes in. And it was so half-assed to begin with.
Mr. Purple Cat Esq.
Yes. The sheer level of dont-give-a-fuck + master shakes and carls voice acting + some funny very stupid dialogue is why this show is good.
Examples of no fucks given...
Titled 'Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters'
The movie poster is amazing.
The fact they they keeped changing the name of the show later on.
