As much as I would cry foul against horrible made for t.v. products I could see some uses for those blocked off compartments. Most notably center one with the potatoes in the splash image which seems like it would be useful for making Japanese Dashimaki Tamago
Somebody edit a dog in there and Boomer will have to get one and let us know how it worked out.
Beautiful technique in that video, but I still don't see the need for the extra compartments.

I suppose for breakfasts it might be helpful.
But part of what makes stovetop cooking so good is the mixture of greases that helps flavor the food.
So I suppose if you want a boring life, sure.

Man, cleaning 4 pans is just too much work!
Cleaning burnt on food out of the 12 corners of this thing would be so much easer!
Also clearing your kitchen of smoke as the residue left over from the faster cooking foods starts to burn.
