animegurl1000 - 2018-10-14 The Jedi in the prequels were like the Stormtroopers in the original films; they were only as good as the plot needed them to be.
In the first scene in the first movie, the Stormtroopers board the rebel ship and slaughter almost all of their armed personnel in a matter of seconds. That scene was specifically done to show just how badly the rebels are outgunned. Then in the rest of the movies the Stormtroopers are more or less cannon fodder that can't shoot straight. If they were as good as they were in that first scene, the rebels would have been defeated in, like, a week.
