I don't know, I would understand someone saying (to himself perhaps, as a positive affirmation) "I deserve this high paying job" if they actually worked hard for it and know they are qualified, prepared and experienced and are only trying to dispel their own insecurities.

If you weigh 400 lbs, are broke and obviously put very little effort into caring for yourself and your physical/mental wellbeing... then I don't see how you can even possibly imagine that you "deserve a beautiful woman".

Also, while obviously a beautiful partner is preferable over an ugly one, this obsession with "beauty" (notice he never even mentioned intelligent, funny, compassionate or interesting, just "beautiful") is generally an immediate red flag with these kinds of fuckers: they don't care about the woman, they want the validation that comes with being the "owners" of a beautiful woman.

Depression manifests itself in so many different forms. When it's at its peak, you can convince yourself that anything is normal and fine. I'm a chef for a living. It's a shit career., but I know how to cook. I'm fairly decent at it.

I've struggled pretty hard with depression off and on for two decades now. The one constant? Fast food. And now, delivery apps. It's a sinkhole of money. It's never great or makes me fulfilled, but I can convince myself that it'll all be ok moneywise, despite always being paycheck to paycheck. But I know the truth, this fella probably does too. Ain't gonna stop us. Now they deliver booze too! What a great idea!

Sometimes, even if we know what is best for us, we do our damnedest to undermine our best interests. But, if i can sit on my couch and watch Smokey Mountain Wrestling, and eat Del Taco... It beats going out.

I don't know if the psycadelics have long term affects, but it just sounds like Boogies' way of looking for an easy answer. Just trip for a night on shrooms and your mental health woes will be cured.

They *CAN* have long term positive effects, if coupled with integrative therapy. Especially for those with depression, ptsd, etc trauma.

Yes, I understand that the internet is full of unneccesarily cruel edgelords and aggressive trolls. Doxing, harassing and insulting people (especially on their home-turf, website, videos, posts, blogs etc.) is very bad.

But I find this pseudo-corporate faux-empathy almost as gross; this bullshit expectation that we are all supposed to feign 1) giving a shit about this person; and 2) that our concern alone is some kind of positive gesture or achievement...
