This is a severely under-appreciated movie. Plus, Kramer is in it (Michael Richards).
"What, don't you guys like Bonanza?"
The entire movie is gold.
Teri! I'm sorry! Come on, give me one more chance, please! Come on, Teri! Teri! Oh!!! Oh I'm in hell!
I'M IN HELL!! TERI!! TERI PICK UP THE PHONE!! PICK UP THE PHONE!! PICK UP THE PHONE!!! OH!!! OH TERI!!!!!!
One of the few movies where the deleted scenes are every bit as good as the rest of the movie. This movie is THAT good.
There is comedy gold to be mined from UHF, but these sloppy blowjobs are going to have to stop.
I saw this with my brother in the theater. we were the only two people there, I always thought that was kinda tragic.
NAME BRAND SPATULAS
OK I was about 11 when I first bought the UHF soundtrack and this was one of my favorite bits. Is anyone else as sick as me? AM I A MONSTER????
If I remember the DVD commentary correctly, the billboard that says "Spatula City: next exit" was left up for weeks after filming was over.
Thanks for posting this. I've been trying to find the nearest Spatula City in my phonebook for years, but didn't know where to find it.

-1 for dated comedy that shows its age. -1 for a comedy sketch built on the premise that we will find it hilarious simply because of the name of the store.

"Open 'till midnight"
What the hell are these people using spatulas for?
I guess spatula is kind of funny sounding.
|Lies, lies, LIES! |
I have a large collection of spatulas so this scene really speaks to my interests.
I frequently wander around quoting this to myself, and I hadn't seen it in years. The voices aren't quite as loud, booming, and accusatory as I remembered. Thanks?
If you can't laugh at this you have a problem.
