That IS Gibby Hayne's dad. There's a story somewhere about Gibby and his friends stealing the Peppermint Mobile and going on a drunken joyride. The Man in the Video went by the name of Mr. Peppermint. I used to watch this show as a kid all the time. He was so popular in Dallas that he had his own theme park. I think it was called Peppermint Place.
