Hey, I didn't submit this nightmare (though now I wish I had...)

But honestly I don't know. For some reason terror in an otherwise cute story always sticks out in my mind way more than an all-out horror movie. Maybe it's because I know it's coming in a horror movie. Who knows.

I have problems, don't I? :(

It's a pretty well-known piece of game trivia. And christ, the ending of Earthbound came out of nowhere. It was like reading a Peanuts or Dr. Seuss book only to find the last 2 pages are illustrated by the guy who did those Stories to Tell in the Dark books.

Also, while we're discussing Earthbound trivia, in Giygas' final, destabilized form the outline of a fetus is easily discernible. There's a strong theory that, since the road of tubes leading up to the devil's Machine resembles a uterus, that Ness and co. traveled back in time to perform a symbolic abortion on Giygas.
