Definitely gay. The color scheme is absolutely horrendous in the most traditionally camp way possible. One thing I love about old stuff is the colors. Those colors don't exist anymore, which is strange to think about to me.
Still, my eyes tend to linger less on Abner and more on Daisy Mae's general thing she got goin.
