So THIS is where it came from. I could always tell in Blazing Saddles that it was a pre-existing phrase, and I wondered where it came from before that.
The whole movie is great.

Hmmm, it sort of reminds me of the scene in Six String Samurai when the general wont let the guy use the road to Las Vegas.
Wow, an American movie that actually depicts a Mexican speaking almost proper English. Oh... those were the days.
This movie is packed with great lines. "What's 35,000 times three? 105,000? I'll bet you $105,000 you go to sleep before I do."
"Me too"ing the Great Movie bandwagon. If you've only seen Bogart in good-guy roles, you NEED to see this movie. His performance is absoluitely chilling. And, as this clip shows, there's great lines to be had all around.
