I watched this a few times on cartoon network, because I was bored and had the day off, and it was kinda funny. Of course I saw this episode with the kid friendly censorship and now seeing the full scene makes it pretty damn funny. It's called "zatchbell" or something like that.

Syd Midnight On one hand, this is almost everything I despise about anime in concentrated form. On the other hand, even I can tell it was written tongue-in-cheek. Not good enough to laud, but not bad enough to hate.
I like to imagine the series is about a young hipster who travels the world, using his harnessed contempt to psychically blast shallow, sex-obsessed pop stars in front of their squealing fans.

But the English dub makes the most excellent comparison of Japanese vs. North American culture I have seen in a while.
Plus, the duckboy thing is doing the 'hitler heil' at the end of the clip.
