Also where the hell was John Cleese?
This was in the later season(s). Johnny went off to do his own thing, for whatever reason. I think he may have been developing Fawlty Towers (Farty Towels) at this time.
One of the best extended skits of theirs, and there were a few. This is from the last season of Monty Python which did not have John Cleese, who was off doing Fawlty Towers.
The entire 4th Season is completely insane. Whatever hold John Cleese had on keeping the writing orderly and working was lost completely.
