cognitivedissonance The 90s version was shockingly not bad, given it was among the last Saturday Morning Cartoons before Disney took over ABC's lineup. They stuck with Addams' character designs. The only problem was the voice sync, John Astin's voice sounded like it was recorded underwater and the rest of cast were truly unremarkable. They did decide to keep the sibling rivalry aspect between Wednesday and Pugsley that was set up in the movie, which was pretty absent in the original series. I believe Addams' second wife was in charge of the operation and she kept a tight control on the adaptation.
