I dunno, swoony female vocals, drone guitar played by Apparat through a delay->reverb->distortion->flange effects chain, it definitly owes more to the 'gaze than to any other non-electronica genre. On ILM (www.ilxor.com), a music criticism site, there was a thread on shoegazey microhouse a few years back.
