I remember Downbeat calling it an "unconscionably bad album". They said that it was a joke on David Geffen and that the only person who fell for it was Thurston Moore. Well, I fell for it too -- I still have my receipt, in case I ever run into Mr. Metheny. 5 stars for allowing me to rant.
