Caminante Nocturno
Super cool 90's Japanese action/scifi + narrator who wandered out of a mustard commercial aimed at women.

That combination earns more than 5 stars.
Now put up the trailer to Gunhed!
I still have this movie on VHS somewhere
This was this first live movie based on an anime I had ever seen. Heck this ranks up there with the guyver in terms of awesomeness!
Fun fact, the anime was based on the live action movie!

Thanks trailer, now that I've seen every single effects shot I can watch it for the PLOT
The anime of this was pretty fucking awesome. Or at least it was ten-twelve years ago. I'm not going back and rewatching it now to find out if it still stands up, though.

Yeah, don't. Don't ever rewatch Iria.

I have not seen this movie. WHY HAVE I NOT SEEN THIS MOVIE?

I still have a VHS copy of Zeiram 2 around here somewhere, the one where live-action Iria finds herself trapped in a sort of zone or pocket dimension or some such crap (i.e. a bunch of old warehouses) with two dorks whose sole function is stumble around having "d'oh!" moments and of course the new and improved Zeiram.
I saw this when I was a little girl in Sapporo

+1 extra star for Caminante Nocturno's mustard commercial aimed at women
Unmerciful Crushing Force
I have no idea who thegreatandmightywhoopass is but I already like her(?).

I actually saw this and Zeiram 2 before watching the (even better) anime (WHICH STILL HOLDS UP HOOPER BELIEVE IN MIRACLES). One of the more underrated Japanese sci-fi action franchises. Don't expect a revolution but expect a good evening of entertainment.

Deep down, aren't we all little girls in Sapporo?
