petep - 2009-03-10 i'm not sure what, if anything, this lego commercial from 1979 has to do with mr. hands
erratic - 2009-03-10 I had this set too! I loved it back when lego sets didn't assume that you wanted to follow any set of instructions for building things.
Spike Jonez - 2009-03-10 ZOMG! I had this set too! I would still buy Legos if they didn't cost a mint.
Pillager - 2009-03-10 I'm saving up for mindstorms.
KnowFuture - 2009-03-11 Totally had this set too. It came with instructions to build the thing in the picture of the box but also had pictures of other stuff you could build. Kind of marks the beginning of the period when Legos were more than just a box full o' bricks.
Camonk - 2009-03-10 The last dude wins cause his can carry things. The other kid's designs were SHIT. THEY WERE SHIT!!!
zatojones - 2009-03-10 back when Legos didn't require a promotional tie-in
chumbucket - 2009-03-10 thanks for bringing back wasted time in the dental office waiting room
Longshot- - 2009-03-11 My ship would have had bigger guns.
