Binro the Heretic - 2009-03-28 Of all the shoddy, terrible shit in this movie...and there was an awful lot of shoddy terrible shit in this movie...Zelda was the shoddiest and most terrible.
Everything about her was laughable, from the scenery-chewing performance to the cheap and unconvincing makeup. What should have been one of the scarier, more disturbing things in the movie was embarrassing to watch. It wasn't even bad in an enjoyable and entertaining way.
Rape Van Winkle - 2009-03-28 Well it scared the fuck out of me when I was 6.
Although I had no recollection of Tasha Yarr or Darien Lambert.
Rape Van Winkle - 2009-03-28 On watching it again as an adult, the scariest part of the Zelda saga looks something like a Mel Brooks parody to me.
punch drunk babies - 2009-03-28 I dunno, watched this again a few months ago and it still creeped me out, prolly since I read this when I was a kid and this was the scariest part of the book for me
Michael Houser - 2009-03-28 The hell? What's the point of this?
True Grindhouse would be desaturated color and a funky (but horror-laden) soundtrack.
And the scene of the little boy killing Fred Munster would have been more apropos.
Rape Van Winkle - 2009-03-28 Even as a little kid, and although I was freaked out by that scene (fucken razor blade from under the bed . . . or was it an exact-o?), I was disappointed by the actual kill. Cut his ankle then chew his mouth? Munsters don't die from that.
millerman13 - 2009-05-11 Iggy Pop must have really been needing money at the time.
