The storylines must be awesome.

If I were Christ I'd be totally stoked to have these guys on my side.

No stupider than regular wrestling.
No, it definitely is "stupider."

Jesus should turn heel.
Okay, so the description is a little misleading. It's not the W4CW coming to Topeka to do a show. It's W4CW starting up a sister company in Topeka called Warriors 4 Christ Midwest that will do free shows at a couple local churches.
Check out their bill (Remove Spaces Where Needed):
Yeah, you heard me, free wrestling shows. Go ahead and cry in your Pabst, Hooker.
Oops, sorry I replied to you Riskbreaker... I had some "In three days he will go face again" joke, but I thought it was lame. So instead I backed out of the page and commented again, but I guess I was still in reply mode to you.

The next match will be a HAMMER, NAILS, AND CROSS MATCH!!! Sacrifice your opponent to our Lord!

Nothing teaches Christ's lesson of "Love your fellow man" like wrestling. Can we start a "Great moments in irony" tag?
|pastorofmuppets - 2009-08-11 |
Why? Because pro wrestling was not redneck enough.

OVER 50 YOUNG PEOPLE...
Unmerciful Crushing Force
Wikipedia entry too!
"The company's founder and President, Curtis Stone A.K.A. "Nightmare" ... formerly competed as a professional wrestler and has operated the organization since 1999. Stone previously worked as an enforcer for drug dealers, collecting money from debtors, before he became a Christian."
And my favorite:
"Although W4CW includes a religious aspect, matches are conducted the same way as in other promotions. Foreign objects, such as chairs, are used as weapons during matches."

I will be in Topeka on those dates. Toenails, would you or anyone else be interested in attending?
I am probably going to attend at least one of the shows. The Patriot was one of the wrestlers I enjoyed watching when I was a teen.
Keep an eye on this page to find out which day that will be, and sorry for the delay in the response. I was not paying attention to my previous posts.
Okay, sorry. I had jury duty so I didn't know if I was going to be able to make it. Here's the run down on the main events:
Friday 28th: 30-man Royal Rumble. All scrubs.
Saturday 29th: Another 30-man Royal Rumble, this time featuring ROSEY, The Patriot (the real one), and Chance Profit.
Sunday 30th: Winner of Friday's RR vs. Winner of Saturday's RR in a match for W4C Mid West Championship belt. Also, a 12-man Gauntlet match, with the winner being crowned the first ever W4CW North American Champion.
Naturally, I'm going to try and go to the Sunday Match. But will probably show up Saturday as all three actual wrestlers will be there and I can be drunk as possible.
Watch this space for what I'll be wearing.
