A little pedantic, but "uncanny valley" doesn't mean what you think it means. It is not simply shorthand for bad CGI.

That said, this really IS terrible CGI.
Caminante Nocturno
Horrified at what Martin has become, Gina attacks him with her ass.

That plan worked out pretty well for Victor in Darkstalkers.

Caminante Nocturno
I would have preferred that Gina jam her stinger into CGI Martin, die, and then be reborn from the egg she injected into him.

I knew I remembered somebody singing 'I'm the man' in the Martin theme song. VINDICATION.

so wait, Martin is watching TV, and then his CG homonculus appears out of it, Poltergeist-style, and then eventually this apparition has apparently replaced Martin in his original seat. SO WHAT HAPPENED TO THE REAL MARTIN

Comeuppance
This is actually the most self-indulgent thing I've ever seen.
The name of the show is Martin.
THe lyrics of the theme song are "Martin / I'm the man / He's all that"
He's even in the shots introducing other characters.
