april-1987-detroit- public investigation of death of rapist. police use of firearms deemed questionable.
may-1987- detroit- charges are laid against the detroit police service.
july-1987- detroit- after several months of court battles, settlment is reached. settlment involves two billion dollar fine as well as the decomissining of any cyborg officers on the force.
june-1987-detroit- officer robo-cop is decommissioned.
