I bet that Houston is cutting social programs due to a reduction in tax revenue.
Eh. They probably bought it with DHS handouts. 9/11 changed everything, remember?

The real world isn't SimCity. Increasing your police fund to 100% and beyond isn't going to solve all crimes.
Wow, this is like the best local TV news story I've ever seen. The cops even try and scare them off with trumped-up bullshit.

As for the UAV itself, I can't imagine how they would use it as anything but a less obtrusive Ghetto Bird, but given the lengths they went to hiding it I think it's safe to assume they have some weird stupid unethical shit ready for it.

My thoughts exactly.

Hey cops! these people already have a vivid imagination, please don't help them out.

"Yesterday was a stressful day for Houston residents as three apartment fires burned unchecked downtown and the 3rd Street Bank of America was robbed twice. The second occurred when the bank robber returned to pick up 'some shit [he] forgot.' In other news, an unidentified aircraft was seen flying past sorority houses near Rice and Baylor from 7 am yesterday until 6:45 this morning."
sounds about right.
