This guy sucks at numbers. He thought he had fired 3 rounds when he had fired all five; he claims it's valentine's day, which is on the 14th, and then claims it's February 15th, while the camera says it's 13th. YOU SEE WHAT NAM DID TO HIM MAN?!?
Vietnam veteran vendor valiantly voids violent vagabonds' vendetta of vacating verboten valuables on Valentine's... uh... Vay.
E equals effort. Elusive eloquence evolves extraordinary enunciation.

And the cover is him holding a human skull and posing with some buddies. I'm getting this book for the potential of those words and that picture.
My stars are for my expectations of the book. As for the video, I see a moral justification for the actions taken by the owner. I think it is reasonable to assume that the thieves could have hurt him or hurt somebody else if they had repeated their crime.
But just because it was justified doesn't mean I have to like it. And the video is just not very interesting.
He had good reflexes and a killer instict, I'll admit that much.
He's lucky that the robber didn't shoot him at the beginning. When he pushed the gun away from his face initially, it snapped back on him for a second before he dropped down behind the counter.
But then the robbers would probably have had to split immediately, invalidating the entire robbery.
Many videos I've seen like this, where the store owner complied, ended with the robbers shooting them after they got what they wanted.
No surprise, but the comments on youtube are almost exclusively from people who could give you a perfectly accurate retelling of every Death Wish film.

Should have had a bouncer at the door.

Cool, he killed a man over pretty rocks covered by insurance. At least they were post adolescent this time.
Yeah, he definitely should have just crossed his fingers and hoped he didn't get killed or anything.
Yes, those was the only other option he had, as evidenced by the way he shot that fleeing man in the back.
