I loved this game so much, even if it was painfully difficult in some parts.

Yeah, the giant baby parts were the worst for me because he could instantly squash you.

God, the hero looks like such a tool.

Even with two players this game was like "NO fuck you!".

Monsters of the Blue Lagoon level made me want to tear my hair out, and I loved every minute of it.

Didn't this have a sequel that was supposedly inferior?

ProfessorChaos - 2010-08-27
Yep. Ghoul Patrol. Not interesting enough to justify as a video submission.

Candlejackv616 - 2010-08-27
oh yeah, I remember it now. It had a darker look to the graphics and I guess more "detail", as if they were trying to be less "kiddie"...riiight.

The original Xbox sure had some good games!

This was for the jaguar, DO THE MATH!

Toenails - 2010-08-27
Your both mistaken, although there were ports to the Xbox and Jag, so I guess I can forgive you guys of your idiotic comments.

The ORIGINAL was made on the Vectrex, but the video you see here was from a canceled 32X cartridge. You can tell it is by the acronym for Special Non-commercial Experimentellspeil.

Yes, the last part is in German, but it was also a well known fact that the developers were Nazis.

Aaaaand scene.

The community here is the reason I keep comming back to this site.

The zombie apocalypse really made everyone re-evaluate the concept of equality. A single cheerleader is now more valuable than a baby, a math teacher, someone jumping on a trampoline, tourists, a dog, a fat guy in an intertube, and an archaelogist.

exactly, you stupid kids shut your damn mouths and run back to your stick waggling machine.

...although i bought this through wiiware for my stick waggling machine as well.

This game could go from ridiculously fun to stressful beyond belief without a moment's notice.
TheOtherCapnS - 2010-08-27
Some of my friends bought this for my birthday back in high school. It was in the bargain bin, and they thought the title was "Zombies Ate Out My Neighbors" as they proudly told me when I opened it. Pretty fun game, gotta love some coop.

The chainsaw hedgemaze was a hell of a lot fun if you used no bazookas and allowed the chainsaw maniacs to cut through the hedges to allow progress. Fire extinguisher and decoy dolls all the way.

Back when LucasArts made more than crappy Star Wars games.
Spit Spingola - 2010-08-28
I'm giving this five stars without watching it. This game is pretty much perfect. I really wish they'd figure out how make another one with the same sense of style. Ghoul Patrol and Monster Madness just stink with failure.
Candlejackv616 - 2010-08-28
every single game that has come out recently trying to emulate this has failed miserably and only further solidify how awesome this game truly was.

This is a damn good retrogame.
