I've said it before, I could almost appreciate their commitment to looking as lousy and "really low budget local TV production values" as humanly possible, but their schtick just isn't funny. What puts me off of T&E is their constant reliance on cheap gross-out humor and the oh-aren't-we-clever-wink-wink faux-awkwardness that permeates almost every second of their output.

FABIO As far as editing and motion graphics go, they can recreate the look of something and be dead on, but they can't construct an actual joke to go in there to save their lives.
It's probably why their MTV spoof was the only funny thing they did, since editing style is what you're going to make fun of in an MTV spoof.

As a newcomer to this fine website, I am glad that this particular community nerd rage flavour is an Adult Swim TV show and not some retarded psycho-babble subject or mac vs PC complex.
I think Tim and Eric is weird and random and mostly humorous. Even when it is isn't all that funny, the show is rather random and creative. A truly bad example of a Tim and Eric style show is that "Hot Box" show.
Horrible.
