This reminds me of those 1 second commercials that those robot-brained people who love to extrapolate trends to the level of reductio ad absurdum made in the late 90s. It would be like a lock exploding then less than a second of the business's logo.
They'd be all "People's attention spans, and thusly commercials, are getting shorter. Obviously this trend will continue at the same rate forever. In fact, according to our very scientific graph 410% of all people will have an attention span of 0.9 seconds by the year 2000!"
This pretty much looks like how I imagined commercial breaks would look if said robots were ever let loose in the real world.
"Blipverts" was broadcast in 1987.
I like that Marc Caro is still involved with edgy film after the abortion that was "Dante 01"...
Could use an LFO tag.
Cannot fucking WAIT to see this in a proper theater...
Five stars for the perfect description.
You know what I learned when I screwed around with editing software?
Any asshole can do this. Any hack can cut together a bunch of eye popping images together to techno that would have been cutting edge in 1975.
In short, fuck everyone in this credit sequence, it is not physically possible for the movie to be good enough to justify it's utter pretension.
No, sorry, these credits suck. There are excellent opening credits; this is not one of them.
Thomas Bangalter worked on this? I feel I ought to see it.
I should see this. I really liked Irreversible, and not just because I'm a big fan of rape.
Smack my Bitch Up: Extended Cut
Looks pretty cool though.
Kubrick titles at 5000x speed
One thing I learned when screwing around with paints is that any asshole can draw cube heads like Picasso. It might have been cutting edge in like 1250, but it was just pretentious for him to do it in the 20th century.
Fuck Picasso, and fuck anyone who thinks he's anything but a hack.
Huh. This was supposed to be a response to GravidWithHate. Doesn't really make much sense down here.
Oh well. I'll go with it.
Fuck Picasso, man!
I haven't played Count the Photoshop Filters in a while, uhm, thanks? Is this a movie? Is it about clip-art? What the hell did I just watch?
+2 for my confusion.
BRING ME THE FONTS
