Umm there doesn't seem to be visible foaming at the mouth and such. But, rabies and other lysaviruses can infect virtually any mammal... and that's definitely unusually aggressive behavior. Yikes

I don't think it is rabid. I worked in a pet store for a year back in high school, and some hamsters just acted like that. We fed them to the snakes. Sometimes the snakes won.
