I remember this game, it was released somewhere around 1996-1997. They advertised the hell out of it because it apparently took 4 or 5 years to make. It had some fun platformer bits too. But that really didnt save it.
I mean, its polished...but ya know, like a polished turd.

Looks like a prime example of the "guess what I'm thinking / admire me because I am oh-so-clever" school of game design. Like Nocty said, Out of This World, an otherwise gorgeous game from back in the day, was unplayable because of it. And don't get me started on some of the horrible puzzles in Sierra titles back in the early/mid '90s.

Oh my, I'm glad we don't see much of this kind of crap anymore.
