Dog breeders truly are a study of the banality of evil.

"This dog died soon afterwards..."
Stone cold narration.
I saw this on BBC America awhile back. Still evil. Where are those radical animal rights nut-jobs when you need them?
How do you defend creating a breed that can't even fuck??
Dupe, but still, five stars for UTTER evil.
Worse than Michael Vick.
This is full of terrible, but I am surprised that the narrator doesn't offer an immediate solution to the entire idea that humans can somehow manage and breed 'optimal' dogs (for aesthetic qualities, longevity, healthiness or happiness)...stop trying.
It must be jelly cause jam don't shake like that.
I have a rescued cat who is blind due to congenital defects from being bred from a brother-sister pair from the same litter. He's a pure-bred Chartreau, but due to his blindness and fairly ugly and deformed eyes, no one could make money off him, so he was dumped on the side of a Mississippi road, right in front of my brother who rescued him.
I love my cat and he's grown into a stately old man with us. Also, Chartreaus kick ass.
I'm a dyed in the wool dog guy, I have always loved the charming beasts and their virtuous ways.
This, however, is unspeakable, and I think I just might have to actually pay to join the ASPCA because of this. I know I have screwed up priorities, but most dogs are better than most people, and I actually wept watching this.
Favorited for later. I don't really need to see this to know that dog breeding is horrible, but this is good to send out to people who disagree.
This was absolutely heartbreaking. I can't stand to see an animal in pain like that.
I'm going to go hug my dog now.
The worst part? This documentary was made about four years ago.
Ugh. Dog nazis doing dog nazi things to dogs.
I love the pictures of dogs from a hundred years ago compared to their modern day counterparts.
Give me a mutt from the pound any day.
What the British Royal Family obsessed with inbreeding? No!
