Is this, indeed, somehow sponsored by pharma money? If it is, I'm not sure what this accomplishes that tons of other horror movies, episodes of the X-Files, and posters of Jeffrey Combs holding a glowing syringe haven't. If they really wanted to do something about do-it-yourself drugging, they should have set it in a country without national healthcare or made the drug supposedly really super-awesome (at first) but banned for some reason.

What I find funnier is the mecha suits. Like Britain (or anywhere else, for that matter) would spend the cash on those instead of just sending in waves of cheaper National Guard types.
