Neither of them are even kind of hot. Fugly trannies? Who's gonna watch that besides 6 year old little Nathan Lanes?

If they're going to start remaking old sitcoms, then I need to go start my own YouTube channel, because people will need something of higher quality.
Like me trimming my toenails or something. That has a better chance of winning an award than the "Alf" or "Facts of Life" reboots.*
* I have no information that these are being made. If they are, I want a new planet to live on and the old one to fall into a black hole.

What struck me was how outright insulting this is.
And no, I don't mean "offensive". This is not simply offensive in the way an off-color joke, an ignorant remark or "edgy" humor is offensive.
This is a carefully constructed deliberate middle finger aimed at the American viewing pubic.
It says, "You will watch this, you stupid, worthless shit stains. You will watch it just because we made it and are putting it on the air."
No one will watch this. Actually, some people may watch the first episode simply based on all of the articles out there about how stupid it is, but after that, no one will watch. It won't see a second season. BET ON IT.
Binro the Heretic
Whether or not it will actually be watched is beside the point.
When someone tells you to "eat shit and die," refusing to follow their instructions doesn't alter the fact the statement was made.

No Peter Scolari? I'm out.
No Wendy Jo Sperber? Oh wait....she's dead. Whoops.
Holy shit! I had no idea she died. Stanley, you have brought shock, pain, sadness, and closure to my life all in the span of one minute. Thank you. Also, watch stewardess school. It's really good in a USA Up All Night sort of way.

So is this another Adam Sandler involved Ponzi scheme?
Seriously, this looks like a Mad TV skit.

So...what's the premise here? The cross-dressing men work in a company staffed by Lois Lane clones?
That's the truly weird thing here. The original Bosom Buddies had the characters dressing as women because the only apartment they could afford was in a women-only building.
Making the premise that women are being hired over men in today's economy for just about anything other than modeling women's clothing is pretty naive, to say the least.
At least they didn't make the sitcom about having to change one's ethnicity to get hired. I can just see the hilarity as two white guys try to pass themselves off as mexican so they can get in on cushy lawncare employment.
