This is beautiful. The dogs that start barking along with his routine, the sparse trees exposing houses his voice is surely carrying to, Daniel's just general lack of anything resembling a sense of humour.

Did he used to have a camera operator? His videos have always been a static shot, I thought.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2012-02-03

Maybe his original tripod has now been replaced with a tree stump.

chumbucket - 2012-02-03

Dogs seem happy he's back.

Hugo Gorilla - 2012-02-03

There was someone behind the camera in his other videos who you could hear chuckling at times. I could never decided if he was Daniel Songer's one true fan or someone who facetiously encouraged Daniel's comedy just to watch the trainwreck.

PeteyCruiser - 2012-02-03

the camera operator "quit" somewhere around comedy act 43... been a real trip following this guy over the years. got to witness the highs and the lows. glad he's back.
he'll be your buddy on facebook too, he types in all caps.

pastorofmuppets - 2012-02-03

I'm more comfortable the way things are now, where Daniel Songer doesn't know my name or hometown.

urbanelf - 2012-02-03

This may actually be his greatest work.

Riskbreaker - 2012-02-03

Any of his videos could be his greatest work.

TeenerTot - 2012-02-03

This is what I'm going to listen to when I finally commit suicide.

Jet Bin Fever - 2012-02-03

DEAR GOD, the last few lines were TERRIFYING.

pastorofmuppets - 2012-02-03

Danny couldn't dance. But Danny could drink.

Danny drank for the government!

Chalkdust - 2012-02-03

he's long since perfected the art of anti-humor but he doesn't even realize it

EvilHomer - 2012-02-04

It's funny, usually when something is this bad for this long, I start to develop an ironic appreciation for it. Not Daniel Songer. Two hundred comedy acts in, and I still want to punch him in the face every time he opens his mouth.

He truly is a master of his craft!

Eroticus E - 2012-02-03

How long can the poet man possibly keep this going? Shouldn't we be seeing the effects of his descent into madness by now?

Aubrey McFate - 2012-02-03

This isn't enough madness for you? When has he been sane?!

Eroticus E - 2012-02-03

I'm just amazed he's maintained this consistent a level of insanity for so long.

SteamPoweredKleenex - 2012-02-04

He's just crazy to keep doing this. It's the self-realization or escalation into frothing seizures we're waiting for, not a continuous plateau.

Carolyne Belcher - 2012-02-06

This is what happens when a comedian doesn't get that instant feedback and evolves independant of response.
