Eh, Adam Sandler's most shameful characteristic is that his movies are lazy, cynical cash grabs full of product placement and sweetheart deals for his comedian friends. At least Tyler Perry is a hard-working dude who targets a sizable demographic that has been ignored by Hollywood.

Tyler Perry's movies are lazy, just a different kind of lazy. He has been doing the same skit in almost every single one of his movies. I know a lot of african americans are desperate for movies that feature themes and actors that they might be able to relate a little. Movies where the black guy doesn't die first, and a cinematic New York not populated by clones of the cast of friends. But seriously, they could, and should, know better than picking these terrible cliche crap.
