chairsforcheap - 2013-06-10 i too hope that i'm not too cynical to enjoy the joy of a young goofy actresses early success. For Him of Many Faces. Valar Dohaeris.
BHWW - 2013-06-10 In the next episode Hodor mixes things up by shouting "Timmay!" instead.
Riskbreaker - 2013-06-10 I haven't seen a single episode of that show.
SteamPoweredKleenex - 2013-06-10 Have you read the books? The audio books read by Roy Dotrice are also great to listen to.
My only complaints about the show itself are things you really don't notice unless you're a TV/movie geek and/or you expect it to be a 1 to 1 production with the novels. You might notice there are a lot of places that should have had horses (like in the boar hunting scene in season 1) or that the extras in the background either don't know how to "toil" like medieval peasants or they're afraid of breaking the props.
But it's well worth watching. You see lots of boobies if nothing else.
fatatty - 2013-06-10 The show is one of the first fantasy things that I've seen make people who normally don't give a shit about dragons give a shit about dragons. It's kind of like the Star Trek reboot in that it's 1 part mass appeal, 1 part homage to the genre and 1 part sweet fights and boobies. Though it's done much better than Star Trek. And way more boobies.
I'd say whether you love or hate fantasy stuff it's worth giving a shot.
