Nick's massive public panic attack over a couple of leaked Spanish-language episodes continues.

The Room is definitely not a project made by aliens but rather a project made by humans to break alien minds.

I stand by my theory!

I hope that now that she's ostensibly an adult in this, they can cut it out with the "all adults are petulant, selfish idiots" stuff that seemed to drive the plot of the first three seasons.

And holy shit, it's starting in just a week?! Season 3 practically just ended!

I stopped watching this Korra thing after the first season. It has the same problem as the original Avatar series: being a kids' show, it can only go so far in its complexities and violence. Yet the original series is at least appealing and humorous; Korra is just drab.

Nice fight scenes, though.

Season 1 was a disappointment because it didn't follow through with the implications it made about inequality in that world. Season 3 actually confronts all its big issues instead of running from them. There's one sequence in particular that makes you question if the world might not be better off if the antagonists succeeded; they manage to arguably do more to help the world than Korra has, even if they used terrorist methods to get there. It says a lot about the TV landscape when a Nickelodeon cartoon serves up more moral complexity than almost anything in network prime time.

Season 3 eventually pays off, but still, far too much of the plot relied on things like the President being a fucktard and Tenzin and Beifong being whiny babies.

The way it ended gave me a lot of hope for Season 4, though, and I'll definitely be watching it.

It's a non-educational kids cartoon. If you are over 12 and enjoy this garbage you should consider repeatedly punching your own face until you fucking grow up.

Maybe they'll grow up enough to start watching REAL anime!

Now that Oddeye has hit puberty, he is DONE with all this kid stuff. He's going to look at boobies on the internet and write swears on the bathroom walls.

Fuck you man, I sometimes draw dicks too. Go back to your cartoons, bed times in an hour.

Yay, another season of everyone patronizing, protecting, kidnapping, and/or beating the fuck out of the most powerful being in the world.

I'm probably still going to watch the whole thing, though, like always.
