My dad used to watch this stuff on TV in Oregon as a kid; it was billed as "Texas Wrestling."

Cool. I used to watch PNW all the time as a kid, and I live really close to a converted movie theatre that hosts WCWC (West Coast Wrestling Connection) events now. I've yet to go to one though.

Yeah, for all of my appreciation of wrestling the closest I've been to an actual event is when I rode across town on the bus behind Tiny the Terrible last year.

Dang.. looks like I'll have to wait until at least March now; the theatre's closed for renovations (again) and for the time being they're doing it in an elementary school about 50 miles away.

Shit.. I always forget how close I live to Roddy Piper. Ironically he lives in Silicon Forest (aka Intel/Xerox central) and everything else is shopping malls. He must've left his shades on the set of They Live.
