This movie was such wasted potential.

baleen - 2015-04-02 It was a product of its time.

Old_Zircon - 2015-04-03 Saw it in the theater as a kid because Darkman was sold out. Dig it out every 5 years or so, and it holds up for all its flaws.

I wonder if Lemmy just plays Motorhead all the time when he's driving. Like, what else would he listen to?

|
Old_Zircon - 2015-04-03 A quick Google search reveals that it's probably Abba, because they're one of his favorite bands.

I still liked this movie, despite the flaws. It was fun to watch, at least.
I wonder if it's on DVD or Blu-Ray. I had an old VHS copy and even if all my tapes hadn't been eaten by a bizarre fungus, I don't know where I'd get a working player to watch it with.
|
Old_Zircon - 2015-04-03 I got the fungus, too, you can usually save them but I didn't know until it was too late and I'd given away about 9/10 of my collection. Lab grade isopropyl, a lint-free swab of some kind (I use q tips wrapped in old cotton tee shirt scraps) and an old VCR will do it.
|
Old_Zircon - 2015-04-03 But Hardware's probably not worth the effort, I don't think it's very rare at all. In fact, I think you can stream it on Netflix right now.
|
StanleyPain - 2015-04-03 It's on blu ray. I have it and the remastered print is fantastic.
Can't remember what extras it had, but it was a cult-release type of thing, not just some "hey, we're farting out old upscaled 720p transfers onto blu ray" thing that a lot of studios do.
