This made me laugh. Maybe I should give this show another chance. I did that with Bojack Horseman (the first season's pretty bad and I didn't make it through but the second one found its stride in awesome ways).. I don't wanna watch the whole thing but is there a season I should start with? In either case, RIP Mr. Coe.

First season was the weakest; the biggest problem was that they devoted a ton of plot-time to a love triangle between Archer, Lana, and Cyril. That was gone as of season 2, and the show quickly got better.

I'm still weirded out by how time flies. When I was a kid, there were still some WWI veterans alive, and the WWII vets were just normal adults. Now there are zero remaining WWI combat vets, precious few WWII vets, and the Vietnam vets can reasonably be described as "elderly".

Nearly as many years have passed from the start of WWII to today, as have from the end of the Civil War to the start of WWII.

so...we can start using the Nazi flag as a symbol of southern pride?

duck&cover - 2015-07-25
Hopefully the Confederate flag will come to be regarded with the same loathing as the Nazi flag.

I watched Bojack season 1 and found it interesting enough and satirical but season 2 is making me laugh out loud pretty hard. Todd building his own garbage dump amusement park is a consistently hilarious episode. I kind of feel like Archer stopped being as funny when they did the Vice season, though.

Also I don't know how we got on this, really but I'll chip in and say fuck the Confederate flag and its heehaw loving protectors.

Well of COURSE a rodent of unusual size would like Bojack :)

Did you get to the Hippopotamus episode yet? I won't give anything away but it's like having a conversation on poetv.

I figured if the confederate flag became a southern pride symbol around WW2, and time equal to the WW2-civil war gap has passed since WW2, it's due time we saw some "sons of Nazi veterans" license plates in Texas or somesuch.

And I agree fuck the confederate flag but I will defend Buck Owens and Heehaw dagnabbit!

whoops meant as a reply, but I still don't know how it got to flags and stuff.

Getting more off topic, I wonder what sort of stew this is stirring for the Duke Boys. As far as I know they never meant no harm. Find out next week! Check your local listings.

I thought it might be a cartoon version of Barbera Woodhouse for a second.
