5 stars for the irony of Bowie being the worst movie Warhol.

He's dandier than Andy ever was, but he's got the disconnected sperg-king thing down pretty good. Glover _looked_ more like Warhol but is far to solicitous and engaging. I remember seeing the "I shot andy" thing in the theatre but remember nothing of the movie.

BTW, this film is great. Especially these two, they really eat up the stage together.

Also: there should be many inferior and hasty copies of Andy.

Awesome! I Shot Andy Warhol! I probably could've just typed in Valerie Solanas Movie into google and gotten it, but it was on the tip of my tongue all this week. Ironically I remember Yo La Tengo doing a very bad Velvet Underground impression, but that Andy is my favorite Andy.

They deserve each other.

Oh man, I didn't realize that was Yo La Tengo, that's hilarious.

The best part of that movie is the recreation of her "squishy" monologue in I A Man.
