Cena_mark - 2016-11-03
The guy has a job where he can look as crazy as he wants, more power to him.

EvilHomer - 2016-11-03
So do pirates, yet surely you don't want to go empowering pirates.

Oh shit. That was not an earing, nor a rope.

TeenerTot - 2016-11-04
What gets me is that he seems especially eager to point it at the camera. Stop that!

Hooker - 2016-11-04
I think his head might be permanently tilting to that side now, Teener.

Hugo Gorilla - 2016-11-03
You can tell that he's creative and imaginative because he uses a seed bell for a ear ring.

What bugs me is that they're not even removing the guts of the ride, they're just retheming. Tower of Terror was such a masterpiece of theming. I get it though, Baby Boomers are out, post-Millenials are in.
Maggot Brain - 2016-11-03
I can see why they would want to up date the cue. The whole ride was very much a product of the mid 90's. I think Suzanne Somers was the voice of the safety announcement.

Xenocide - 2016-11-03
I'll never forgive Disney for retheming Mr. Toad's Wild Ride into that Winnie the Pooh bullshit. Mr. Toad was genius; it was basically a precursor to every modern video game. Multiple paths! Out-of-place sexiness! An amoral protagonist who drives recklessly! Demons!

I think the issue also has to do with Eisner building California Adventure on the cheap, and many, many issues resulting from that. It was one of the major issues brought by the Disney family in asking for his removal. Lasseter is forced to deal with it on an infrastructural basis, which is complicated by the compact requirements of Anaheim as opposed to Orlando. CA TOT only has two elevator tracks, and no randomized sequence like the Florida version. It's a less satisfying experience.

THAT SAID, it's in CALIFORNIA Adventure. A crumbling Hollywood hotel makes sense there.

Maggot Brain - 2016-11-04
If this goes well Califorina Adventure will become Marvel-land.
