John Holmes Motherfucker - 2017-03-31 Someone else has heard of Marshall Efron? According to his IMDB page, he's best known for The Great American Dream machine, which is an awesome credit, but it was 40 years ago.
So who has heard about the Great American Dream Machine? A few months ago, I found a few faded episodes on Hulu, but apparently they're gone now.
Seven Arts/H8 Red - 2017-04-01 I have the DVD set S'More Entertainment put out in 2015. The show is hit-and-miss overall - as a compilation of documentary pieces, animated/live action short films and comedic opinion pieces are going to be - yet Efron is one of Great American Dream Machine's centerpieces.
GADM is sold at this point for its comedy, though its heart is in the documentary and opinion pieces. I also wish WNET and Alvin H. Perlmutter Inc. had taken better care of the show.
kingarthur - 2017-04-01 Even as an atheist I find myself thinking about these sorts of questions regarding my own imminent demise against my better judgment. My rational brain and common sense tell me there's no afterlife but you so get to regretting all the tragedies and failures life put you through and all the life cancer is robbing you of. It's kind of a miserable mental state to be in but
1. I'm not going to know until it happens and I hope it isn't slow and/or painful.
2. There probably isn't one.
