Well dipshit, you unwittingly placed your privileged ass in the service economy by entering into an indentured servitude contract to pay for a late model car you can't afford.
M-DEEM - 2017-12-05
lol privileged. What a privilege to have to drive entitled shitheads around for extra cash

cognitivedissonance - 2017-12-05
As many a bourgeois thug has told a loser of capitalism, "Live within your means."

Anaxagoras - 2017-12-05
"Entitled"? Well, I suppose so, if by "entitled" you mean "People who pay for a service feel entitled to receive that service with a minimum of fuss".

what a strange world I live in where taking a second or third job makes you a loser and getting mad when dickheads won't get out of your car is unfathomable

Cena_mark - 2017-12-05
Those uppity Uber Drivers lording their privilege over everyone. They're the reason why Trump won.

memedumpster - 2017-12-05
Study after study after study has shown that poor people, when having to choose between attacking the poor or the rich, will choose the poor more often than not.

Cattle is as cattle does, and poor has nothing to do with your bank account.

Next time someone cuts me off in traffic I'll throw a brick through an Apple Store window.

I don't think there's that many layers to this onion.

You guys kill me with your overarching societal theories.

Dude's an asshole.

SolRo - 2017-12-07
It's literally raging idiot vs consumer idiot.

He's so angry at everything that he never realized driving another half block to wherever it is she wanted to go would have been the fastest way to get rid of her.

She's entitled to world class service because she bought the cheapest cab ride that a smartphone app has to offer. With that illusion broken, she then resorts to repeating generic customer complaint phrases and inventing rules, hoping to reboot the driver robot into subservience.

Wow. The original https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmJy1FRRHis
Anaxagoras - 2017-12-05
Yeah, the original is so, so much worse. And the youtube comments are the shit icing on the turd cake. They *all* seem to think that the woman is a bitch, and the man-child is somehow justified in his little tantrum.

The guy should seriously quit his Uber gig and become a cartoon voice actor. This could be his lucky break.
Marlon Brawndo - 2017-12-05
He should have been a drill sergeant. He missed his calling!

This would have made a good Ren and Stimpy episode.

I have a cab driver buddy who rattles off all the training and yearly certification he has to do to be a cab driver and not an Uber driver. just calming the fuck down and answering her question is well, clearly the way to get her out of the car. Since my buddy is lamenting that business sucks lately due to Uber I am a little torn. Do I want a guy who is bitter about his failing job but certified and maybe also bitter about being certified or do I want to take a chance on a guy who isn't certified in shit and uses Google maps but is maybe bitter about how little they earn?
gmol - 2017-12-05
It isn't about "certification". It is about if small groups of rich families get protected control over poor imigrants or if a more efficient syndicate of corporate assholes get to do the same. Pretty sure the corporation is better.

SolRo - 2017-12-06
Pretty sure the corporate pay is much worse.

gmol - 2017-12-07
Maybe a little over a year back when I started use phone based ride services, I asked every driver how they liked their gig.

One guy that had a back problem and couldn't do another job explained it like so:

Yes the pay sucks, and you really need to be efficient to be able to pay off the vehicle/maintenance; but it's a lot better than working at some shit place doing shit work with a shit boss who can make your life hell.

SolRo - 2017-12-07
‘Join UBER(TM) today! We’re better than the worst job you can imagine.’

15th - 2017-12-07
My survey of uber drives had the same results. Most said the pay sucks. One also mentioned that they turn their phones off somewhat simultaneously around peak hours to price gouge.

Spit Spingola - 2017-12-06
This guy sounds like his ride used to be a van down by the river.
