I guess that's what we're all wondering. Will the example of Trump help democracies develop their immune system against future populist sleazebags of the Trump / Erdogan / Putin / Salvini / Duterte / Orban stamp? That happened with Joe McCarthy, his schtick was so over the top that it never really worked in the States again. Or, will he show the roadmap a thousand more hucksters will follow? Already the Republican Congress's junior ranks are filling up with eager cons looking to be the next angry populist.

I think its hard to imagine things not getting worse. Whenever pundits calculate Trump's chances of surviving, they usually forget to account for Trump continuing to be Trump, and the inevitable monkeyshines to come. If we don't get to the tipping point, it can only mean there isn't one.

At this point Trump is fucked no matter what and he knows it. And I'm not talking about Presidentially. I mean....here's a man who has literally set himself up for probably potential decades of legal cases involving fraud, money laundering, and god knows what the fuck else. But then, on the other end of it, is the fact that he, like Manafort and many of the others, owe SO MUCH FUCKING MONEY to the Russians. He is debt up to his fucking eyeballs with so many fucking stone-cold murders and thugs that I honestly would not be surprised Trump drops like a fucking stone into his KFC dinner from a "heart attack" or something like that at some point in the future when the dust has settled. These people sold their fucking souls to people will destroy their lives in a heartbeat just for some political favors and gold-plated toilet seats. I mean..I can't even imagine what the Russians are going to do to his family......the Trumps will be owing money to dudes with "ski" on the end of their names for the next 2 or 3 generations, and mean tweets and firing government officials ain't gonna make that shit disappear.
