Even roided-out pro-wrestlers who have taken way too many hits to the head can take criticism of their play acting better than this bowtie bitch.

Cena_mark - 2019-02-21 He hasn't worn a bowtie on TV in years, but he'll never hear the end of it. He'd still be wearing a bowtie if he never heard criticism of it.

What's nice about Bregman's rhetoric here is that he presents the higher taxes position in terms that are agreeable to the typical conservative, Republican discourse, and in a way that leverages the current populist worries but redirects them towards the rich: go back to a simpler time, simple solutions, America's height in the 1950s and 60s, Eisenhower the Republican President. The the problem is that the rich by avoiding taxes have pulled America down from its heights in the past.

All in all we seem to be heading in a good direction, I see the "close the loopholes" argument as a clear sign the conservatives are back-peddling on taxes for the rich.
