If you watch carefully, you see that the security guard who gets knocked down and beaten is the one who tried to stop the other guard using his club. Club-guard is the one who walks away rather nonchalantly.

Cut scene to the locker room, where Stan is about to get a surprise as he walks out of the shower into a strangely quiet, steam-veiled locker area....
