"Valid ID grab failed!" on the closest thing to this clip. I'm sorry it doesn't have her soliloquy at the end. This entire movie is slow-moving gold.

I first saw it with my sisters, the first said "Oooh go call help" and my other sister, who'd had a kid, said "Oh hell no she's gonna do it!"

A fine mix of Norwegian/American/Canadian woman. Her MILFiest role.

I saw in interview with the Coens where they said Buscemi was supposed to be the sympathetic character, not McDormand. Whether they were messing with the interviewer or not I don't know, but it makes sense to me. McDormand's character is a robot. Buscemi's has the pathos.

Isn't the flag on her shoulder supposed to be pointed the opposite direction?

"So that was Mrs. Lundegaard on the floor in there. And I guess that was your accomplice in the wood chipper. And those three people in Brainerd. And for what? For a little bit of money. There's more to life than a little money, you know. Don'tcha know that? And here ya are, and it's a beautiful day. Well. I just don't understand it."

she does that line SO well..pretty much sums up the whole film right then and there

Pretty much sums up life.

I nominate Fargo for president of movies.
Cleaner82 - 2008-09-05
I second the nomination.

When I first saw this movie it was one the few times I have ever been genuinely scared for a character's well-being.

This is the high point of the Coen's "I could easily sit through another hour of this movie" period.

Now this would be a Classic Movie.

-1 star because giving six stars isn't possible.
