[Obligatory John K. quote]

Ren and Stimpy had the best psychotic breakdowns of any cartoon series.

I used to hate this cartoon, and now I love it -- because it was nuts and because it's fucking nuts, respectively.
A-- oh my god that dummy's a corpse!

Marijuana, high school, and Ren & Stimpy.

When John K. is good, he's very good, and when he's bad he's horrid.
I think John K had long been driven out by the time this came out, and just as well. Whoever was working on the later seasons created some hysterically surreal, dark stuff.
John K.'s work, just him working without any real censorship is the awful stuff that aired on SpikeTV.
You're retarded, this show sucked after Kricfalusi.
The Spike stuff was pure shit, but when John K had to work around the censorship from Nick he was almost as good as the seasons after they kicked him off the show.
Fuck that, Ren seeks help is awesomely pure unmitigated insanity
That was a good new one. Insomnia, Space Madness, any episode where Ren goes mad is a classic.

this is the episode, probably this part specifically, that caused my family to tell me I couldn't watch this cartoon anymore.

Sometimes it boggles my mind that my parents let me watch this as a kid.

This was my second favorite episode, right behind "Space Madness" and just ahead of "The Royal Canadian Kilted Yaksmen."

Great, now I have to see the "Stimpy's Fan Club" freakout again.
"Just one, quick TWIST... and it's over!"

Pretty pale imitation of the early ones, despite being EDGEY
