Knew this was a dupe:

On your "big bird" tag even. :-p

So sorry.

Obv reading the husk stirring thread in a submissive mood.

Then again, what is the cost of a dupe? PoETVs audience does shift, and everything old is new.

chet, is there a way to have people resubmit videos already in the database so they can go through the hopper again or make in on the front page again? or even have a section for videos chosen randomly from the db? a "memory lane" perhaps...

green? lol wtf he's yellow

IrishWhiskey - 2009-04-22
Few people appreciate your genius, Frank.

In fact I'm guessing its just you.

Blaise - 2009-04-23
I'm with Frank on this one. Shouldn't Kermit be singing this song?

Trolls live under bridges so you can't see them cry.

mashedtater - 2009-04-23
I would guess because it would be hard to make kermit move down the isle and also jim henson did kermit and they might have seen it in poor taste to have anyone else do his signature song at his funeral.

my god, you can hear big bird sobbing.

SkeletonMichelle - 2009-04-23
Much of the poignancy for me comes from the fact that it's not Kermit singing, that Kermit can't sing it because his voice is gone. Hence Big Bird looking up at the end and saying, "Thanks, Kermit."

A beautiful tribute.

This was the saddest moment of my early childhood. It was how I learned about death. I cried my 4 year old head of for days.
ProfessorChaos - 2009-04-23
I can't rate this less then 5 stars, even if it is a dupe.
MongoMcMichael - 2009-04-23
I can't believe you submitted a du--

Testicles of Doom - 2009-04-23

I'll 5 it twice.
Prickly Pete - 2009-04-23
This seems in poor taste. He's a grown man. But I guess I'm just not "getting it," so I won't rate...
StanleyPain - 2009-04-23
This was rough, but not as rough as the "Mr Hooper dies" episode of Sesame Street. That'll fuck your shit up when you're 8 years old.
