Seven CDs. What a waste of polycarbonate.
I think acting in this massive disaster was a thankless job for its cast.

Imagine the shame of showing this to your kids and telling them this was how mommy and daddy met. No, smartass, the genie snake was not invited to the wedding.

For whatever reason this reminded me of the 13'th Guest. And that makes me smile like a happy, happy retard.

This game sold really well and was quite popular at the time, if I remember correctly.
It was very well-hyped. One of my friends bought it. We installed it together because we were pretty excited about it. We very quickly realized it was just a teeny bit ridiculous.
He ended up playing the whole thing just to see how terrible it was (plus, being poor college students he wanted to get his money's worth).

Actress Victoria Morsell spent months in front of a bluescreen filming the hundreds of actions players could direct her character to perform. The game script was about 550 pages long, four times the size of a regular movie script, and an additional 100 pages of storyboards set the style for the over 800 scenes in the game. The game required four months of filming alone and over 200 people were involved in the production, not counting the Gregorian choir of 135 people that was used for parts of the music in the game.. The final chase sequence took a week to film.[
So much work for such little payoff.
