infinite zest I think the title description is all you need actually. He's an amazing pianist who then decided to make this album which, in my opinion, still sounds like Magnetic Fields on (more?) coke and PBR.
Not to sound like a dick but I remember getting this record in at the store I worked at in Madison, and there were a few months where we'd play it at the store before it became a college rock/ Jock Jams anthem. Keep in mind it was later played in every dorm room and kegger throughout the city, and it was then that my co-workers and friends turned against him. It's a fairly solid album and that's it.
